The fourth annual dinner and auction to raise funds for improvements at the Greene County Fairgrounds is slated for Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Clover Hall on the fairgrounds. A social hour will begin at 5 pm, with dinner at 6 pm and the auction at 7 pm.
Up for auction will be seed, chemicals, services and other agricultural and livestock supplies. All items have been donated. A complete auction list will be available at GreeneCountyNewsOnline shortly before the auction.
Auction proceeds will go the Fair Foundation for building new barns at the fairgrounds. The swine and sheep barns have been replaced with proceeds from previous auctions. A new cattle barn is next on the project list.
